En Sonunda/Finally

Friday in Istanbul and a surprise: The Reason I’m Learning Turkish took the day off so we could hang out. Yay! *Beam!*

Still, I like that reading habit you’re rocking these days! You can always read the about how The Reason and I met. I’m the solo woman in the story, the potentially crazy one, in case you can’t recognize me. See you Monday…

I’m curious about what you’re doing in Istanbul (living aside). You’ve met someone and are settling there? What a fabulous city you’ve chosen.

Just living. I’ve met someone, but I don’t know about settling. I think of Kundera: “In the mind of a woman for whom no place is home, the thought of an end of all flight is unbearable.” But it is a really fabulous city and I’m enjoying it more and more as I learn the language.
