Looking Ahead

“The artist’s life: Are you a born writer? Were you put on this earth to be a painter, a scientist, an apostle of peace? In the end the question can only be answered by action.

“Do it or don’t do it.”

–Steven Pressfield. The War of Art.

Indeed. It’s AMAZING. I’ve given it to students, writer friends, random strangers. 🙂 Pressfield has helped to keep me going through many a slump. I’m calling in his advice for another round.

I suddenly feel my inner Yoda channeling through me 🙂 Do or not do, there is no try. And although it may reveal a hidden weakness of sorts, there is nothing like a glass of wine and a beautiful landscape spread out before me to encourage action. Good luck Paige, can’t wait to live vicariously through your travels and always enlightening observations and insights!

Thank you, Dave! I had to participate in the Hungarian summer custom, right? It was a spritzer, does that help? 🙂
