The Nice Thing About Strangers

My Book

So, I wrote a book.

I am so grateful for my blog readers who have given me a lot of encouragement in my writing. I’m so fortunate to be a part of this community. Thank you! I seem to find only the beautiful, vulnerable, breathtakingly human things one can discover in strangers. In the last few years, I’ve been taking a lot of notes and keeping a record of those small moments. Many of you have read them here, but I’ve also selected about 160 of those brief, optimistic, non-fiction stories and created a book. I’m really excited about it.

You can find the paperback edition here: Paperback Edition

Or the Kindle edition here: Kindle

I hope you’ll enjoy the book. I hope it will inspire you. I hope you’ll share it as well.

Thank you, Andy! I’ve been swinging between joy, anxiety, and pastries for a few weeks now. 😀 I’m glad it’s finally out there.

You can do it, Andy! It helped me to read “War of Art” by Steven Pressfield and to listen to as much Seth Godin as possible (he’s all over youtube). They help with the fear and the procrastination, and the anxiety at being vulnerable. 🙂 Best of luck to you!

Leya, thank you so much, my friend! I’m excited to pass on the ideas. My aunt wanted something to give her friends, so this was a part of what got me rolling. 🙂
      Merry Christmas!

Thank you for seeing the world in such a beautiful way! ;-> Would that more people did the same. There would be more smiles to share all around the world!!!

This was a big part of the impetus to create the book. I hope it will inspire people to smile when they feel impatient, and to look for the good, even when feeling grumpy. 🙂 I made that a practice as it’s made even long waits in the airport much, much better.

Hi I’m 8 and I’m in third grade. I read your book and I thought I needed to tell you my favorite story’s in the book.here are my favorite stories ,wave to mama, missing you,the selphone slaughterof small talk, one giant leap for ein kleines kind and those are my favorites and you are my favorite author.

    • Max, Thank you so much for writing to me! This comment really made me smile.

I will be on the look-out for more stories like the ones you mentioned. I’m glad you didn’t find “Missing You” to be a sad story. 🙂 Thank you for reading my book and stopping by to say hello. You really made my week.

      Take care–
      Paige
