Creative Non-Fiction Short Stories. :) Travel, Oldsters, Love, and Compassion.
So, I wrote a book.
I am so grateful for my blog readers who have given me a lot of encouragement in my writing. I’m so fortunate to be a part of this community. Thank you! I seem to find only the beautiful, vulnerable, breathtakingly human things one can discover in strangers. In the last few years, I’ve been taking a lot of notes and keeping a record of those small moments. Many of you have read them here, but I’ve also selected about 160 of those brief, optimistic, non-fiction stories and created a book. I’m really excited about it.
You can find the paperback edition here: Paperback Edition
Or the Kindle edition here: Kindle
I hope you’ll enjoy the book. I hope it will inspire you. I hope you’ll share it as well.
Cheers on your book release! 🙂
Thank you, Andy! I’ve been swinging between joy, anxiety, and pastries for a few weeks now. 😀 I’m glad it’s finally out there.
Paige
I’m envious 🙂 I have been trying and haven’t even come close 🙂
You can do it, Andy! It helped me to read “War of Art” by Steven Pressfield and to listen to as much Seth Godin as possible (he’s all over youtube). They help with the fear and the procrastination, and the anxiety at being vulnerable. 🙂 Best of luck to you!
Paige
Congratulations my dear Page and be sure – I will buy and read it…♥…
Liebe Maccabros, wie schoen! I hope you’ll appreciate the stories surrounding my battles with German. 🙂
Lg,
pmj
Congratulations! To say that I’m jazzed about this news would be a huge understatement. 🙂
Jeff, I hope you’re enjoying the book. Thanks for all the support and encouragement. You really have made a difference to me.
Paige

My Congrats, Paige! This is what i have been waiting for – my Christmas is saved!
Leya, thank you so much, my friend! I’m excited to pass on the ideas. My aunt wanted something to give her friends, so this was a part of what got me rolling. 🙂
Merry Christmas!
Paige
Merry Christmas to you as well, Paige. I just ordered two copies from Amazon.
Leya, I hope they will bless the readers. 😀
Paige
Congrats!
Oh this is such a great idea, Paige. Bravo. And a good holiday gift, I think.
Thank you, Evelyne. I hope it will bring people a lot of joy. I had fun putting it together and going back to all the places where the stories were set. 🙂
Merry Christmas!
Paige
Well done! Congratulations.

Virtual hugs,
Judie

Paige
Thank you for seeing the world in such a beautiful way! ;-> Would that more people did the same. There would be more smiles to share all around the world!!!
This was a big part of the impetus to create the book. I hope it will inspire people to smile when they feel impatient, and to look for the good, even when feeling grumpy. 🙂 I made that a practice as it’s made even long waits in the airport much, much better.
Paige
I think about that, too.
Congratulations!
That really is an achievement – Congratulations!
Thank you, Daniela! I’ve been so excited to hear from readers. It’s wonderful to have the chance to spread the ideas and optimism. 🙂 Happy New Year!
Paige

Max, Thank you so much for writing to me! This comment really made me smile.
I will be on the look-out for more stories like the ones you mentioned. I’m glad you didn’t find “Missing You” to be a sad story. 🙂 Thank you for reading my book and stopping by to say hello. You really made my week.
Take care–
