One never took the time to savor the details; one said: another day, but always with the hidden knowledge that each day was unique and final, that there never would be a return, another time.
–Paul Bowles. The Sheltering Sky
I love the thought that each day is “unique and final”… Which makes it easier to treasure each one.
Beautiful, Paige. hugs
Hugs back atcha, Journeyman. You know we’re all down here together. 🙂
thanks, Paige 🙂 I know.
Beautiful, and also a bit melancholic – .
I have a tendency toward melancholy, though I hope the blog keeps me onward and upward. 🙂
The melancholic also have a very beautiful quality, as long as it doesn’t pull one too far under, it is a quality which should be appreciated.
..just makes one think a bit doesn’t it. Thank you Paige.
