The Reading

I have an awesome story from a gas station today, but I am absolutely exhausted. Nothing I am typing is legible–so you know that’s bad news. This week, I wrangled some readings at various locations (Thank you, Hastings College and Kansas State University!). Today’s reading was recorded. I can’t watch it–you know how it is to see yourself on camera or listen to your voice on tape. I only know this is me because I remember being there. πŸ™‚

However, if you’re interested in hearing some of the stories from the book, I will share a link to the video of my reading at Kansas State University today: https://www.facebook.com/KSUCommStudies/videos/1004681972941878/.

Gas station story on Monday. I promise.

Thank you, Readers! I have been grinning ear to ear all week. I’m feeling refreshed, inspired, and honored to have this opportunity. Thank you for giving me some of your time. Thank you for being here.

Delightful photo! Looking forward to the ‘gas station.’ πŸ™‚

    • Eric, As it happened, I thought–“Well, this is going on the blog.” Lol. It’s funny when you’re in the middle of one of those moments. I notice more details if I can catch the story while it is underway.
      See you Monday–

  2. Paige, I saw your reading…you did an excellent job! By the way, congratulations on your book. I just bought me a copy.

    • Thank you so much, Walt! I appreciate the support and your kindness. It’s been a while. I won’t be keeping up with politics for a while, I think, so this will give me more time to write. πŸ™‚

Your mom has an infectious smile! Congrats on your readings!!

    • I learned to smile from Mom, this is for sure. I’m glad it is my usual uniform. Thank you for the well wishes. It’s been a fun experience so far. πŸ™‚

Paige, you are fabulous with the reading!

    • Carl, you are very kind. I am just learning as I go. I’ve had a lot of fun traveling with my books in my trunk. πŸ˜€ Thank you!

Marvelous! Last week I was interviewed, very briefly, at a conference, and the interview was posted to the web. I can’t look! Anyway, Congratulations on very well deserved acknowledgement.

Thank you to Kansas State for posting the video, and to you for sharing it. Since I was unable to catch you at Hastings College this is the next best thing! Happy travels!!
