Why I Smile –Even When I’m in the Grocery Store

We stand much more in need of encouragement, of positive and clear direction. We know well enough what is wrong with us, but the monotony of the life sometimes makes us so dejected that we cannot seem to do anything about it. What we need above all are words that will make us love one another and advice that will strengthen us to overcome evil with good.

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese! I wish I could find some in Spain. It is crazy what you miss. Keep smiling. 😀

Well, yeah, I think I could manage to do a good portion of my grocery shopping in this twenty foot square space 🙂 Kidding, sort of 😉 But, you bring up a great point Paige. Instead of focusing on the negativity around us, it most certainly helps to shift that focus toward positivity, whether it’s a genuine smile from a stranger, or a box of frosted pop-tarts 🙂

It’s always interesting to see what gets promoted as “American” when abroad. I haven’t had a Pop-Tart in ages, but maybe I should do so as my patriotic duty… 🙂
