Creative Non-Fiction Short Stories. :) Travel, Oldsters, Love, and Compassion.
It’s not been Writer’s Block, but Writer’s Blah. I’ve found many Nice Things lately, but the stories are giving me fits. It’s like I keep pulling burned cookies from the oven! This week I had a remarkable encounter in a market, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you. Wish me luck, if you would be so kind. π

Writing is like getting married. One should never commit oneself until one is amazed in oneβs luck.

LOL. π I’ve got a lack of committment going on with my writing, and it’s more block than blah. A remarkable encounter in a market? Good luck with that, Paige, whatever it is!
I find the blog is often on my mind, and I still catch scenes I want to share. I think I’m just a little distracted lately. Best of luck on your blocks–may the words flow freely again! π

Wishing you lots of luck from Italy.
Thank you! π Coming to the blog today has helped me feel a bit more inspired.

Good luck, Paige, although writing is more craft than chance. The artist must study the planes and angles before picking up the chisel π
The only way to turn it from encounter to story is hitting these little keys, Paige. You know it in your heart that once you get rollin blah is pretty close to blossom. I expect to see the bloom all over here soon.
Thanks for the pep-talk, Mark! Here’s hoping!! π

I have faith, Paige. You should, too. π
Wishing you luck from NYC. Although I don’t think you need it π
I just read about the swimming baby – no writer’s blah there…Just push the right button…!
Thank you, Leya! I think it’s that I found this “apple encounter” so special and I want to get it right. I’ll keep at it!

Good luck! Especially since you are on – what? – a 20-hour journey home! π Here’s to smiles, good observation, and delightful anecdotes.
